Colbert Super PAC saga has mounted a devastating critique of campaign finance laws and corporate influence on politics, by exposing legal fundraising loopholes available to those with means. This leads to a great question, why is Colbert not an official candidate? Clearly he would do much better than some of our other candidates specially the drop outs.
Even if Stephen Colbert has a humorous nature to his show he gets down to the facts about government even the GOP. Clearly even without being an official candidate he got approven to form a Super PAC and its affecting the GOP bit by bit. Colbert has been stirring up a political career since 2008 and seems to be waiting for his chance to prove he can take it.
